Designing a Solution

River to River, Florence Indian Film Festival is an annual film festival that showcases independent and low-budget Indian films under the patronage of the Embassy of India in Italy. Studio Eeksaurus created an animated signature film for the 10th anniversary.

As part of a team of 4, we developed and finalized the concept, story world, characters, storyboard, animatics and styling for the film.

It was essential to represent the mélange of people, culture, and the mere diversity within India.

We created a set of quirky archetypal characters accompanying the film reels, on their way to the festival. To be replayed between the screenings, it had to be short, lighthearted and entertaining.
